Eat Fruit the Right Way
Because of the way digestion works, it is best to eat fruit away from other foods. (This Australian habit of eating fruit after dinner is definitely out!! The fruit can't be digested swiftly, being on top of heavier food, it can start to ferment.)
Because you digest fruit much faster than other foods, it is good to eat it at least 20 min before a meal.
I eat fruit (and only fruit) until 11am – that gives my body a nice break after dinner and supports digestion/assimilation and elimination. Then no fruit for the rest of the day. It works well for me.
For certain conditions like adrenal fatigue, you might need protein for breakfast. Please research what is right for you.
