Tumeric has a great reputation as an anti- inflammatory for people suffering from arthritis, joint pain, clear the skin, muscle pain and other related issues. It also aids in digestion, works as an anti-parasitic, and is anti-bacterial. It is also said to be a great aid for Alzheimer's disease and cancer.
You can easily make a Tumeric Paste, which will keep in the fridge for 2-3 weeks.
Take 1-2 teaspoons a day with warm water (drink with a straw- it can stain your teeth) or apple juice or any other juice. Start with a small spoon full to get used to the taste.
Preparing the Paste:
Simmer ½ cup of water (try not to have chlorine and fluoride it it!) with ¼ cup of tumeric for at least 7 minutes. Add some more water if it gets too dry.
Watch out that it does not bubble up and stain your clothes.
When cooled down, store in a sealed glass container in the fridge.
